POLICY & TERMS OF SERVICE
Sabine HAMR Travel Policy & Terms of Service
At Sabine HAMR, our Travel Packages make on-location hair and makeup services simple, transparent, and safe. By booking any Travel Ritual or mobile appointment, clients agree to the following terms and responsibilities.
1. Travel Fee Structure
Travel Packages are fixed-rate fees, designed to fairly reflect the artist’s time and costs.
Fees include round-trip travel time, pack-up and pack-down at both locations, and vehicle expenses.
The travel fee applies per location, not per person — all clients at the same address are covered under one travel fee.
Travel beyond 160 km from Colac CBD is custom quoted and includes additional mileage at $0.75/km.
Any parking fees, tolls, or accommodation required for long-distance or early-morning bookings are the client’s responsibility.
2. Client Responsibilities (Setup & Environment)
To ensure a safe, hygienic, and efficient experience, the following conditions must be met:
A clean, uncluttered surface or table for setup.
A chair or bar stool suitable for hair and makeup — stool height is ideal for makeup application.
A power outlet within reach of the working area.
Natural lighting is preferred. If unavailable, the artist will bring professional portable lighting.
At least 1.5m x 1.5m of clear workspace to allow for safe equipment setup.
If the workspace is unhygienic, obstructed, or unsafe, the artist reserves the right to refuse service or modify the appointment without refund.
3. Pets & Household Safety
For the artist’s safety and to maintain hygiene, all pets must be secured or kept away during setup and service.
Once setup is complete and the space is calm, friendly pets are welcome to rejoin as long as they are well-behaved and do not interfere with the equipment or service.
Sabine HAMR will not be held liable for any injury, allergy, or incident involving household pets during the appointment.
4. Equipment & Vehicle Liability
Clients are responsible for providing a safe environment for the artist’s personal property, including makeup kits, lighting, chairs, and other equipment.
If any part of the artist’s kit, tools, or equipment is damaged, broken, or contaminated during the appointment due to client, guest, or pet interference, the client may be held liable for the cost of replacement or professional sanitisation.
If the artist’s vehicle is damaged, blocked, or tampered with while parked at or near the client’s premises, the client or host is responsible for reporting the incident and providing any reasonable assistance (e.g. security footage, witness details).
Sabine HAMR is not responsible for theft or damage of equipment or personal property once setup has occurred within the client’s space.
5. Hygiene, Safety & Clean-Up
All professional tools and products are sanitised before and after every service.
The artist provides all hygiene and cleaning materials and ensures the space is left clean and trace-free after services are complete.
Clients should ensure all delicate furniture, rugs, or surfaces are protected before setup begins.
6. Delays & Client Readiness
Please ensure you and all booked guests are ready at the scheduled start time.
Delays caused by client lateness, space preparation, or environmental issues may reduce service time.
Sabine HAMR is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or access issues outside reasonable control.
7. Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds
Travel bookings follow the same deposit and cancellation policy as standard in-studio appointments.
Deposits are non-refundable once travel has commenced.
Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the travel fee to cover allocated time and expenses.
Reschedules with 48+ hours’ notice retain the travel fee and can be moved once without penalty.
8. Health & Disclosure
Clients must disclose any skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or contagious illnesses prior to the appointment.
The artist reserves the right to refuse service if illness, open wounds, or unsafe conditions are present.
9. Liability & Acceptance of Terms
Sabine HAMR takes every measure to maintain safety, hygiene, and professionalism but is not liable for:
Allergic reactions or sensitivities to products used.
Accidents or damage occurring due to environmental hazards or client interference.
Unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control (traffic, power outages, weather, etc.).
By booking and paying any required deposit, clients acknowledge and accept these terms.”
Sabine HAMR STUDIO Policy & Terms of Service
By booking an appointment at Sabine HAMR, clients agree to the following terms and conditions. These ensure a safe, respectful, and professional experience for both client and artist.
1. Studio Conduct & Guests
The studio is a private, professional environment. All clients are welcome to bring one guest or carer to their appointment.
If you wish to bring additional guests, please notify us in advance so we can prepare the space accordingly — the studio is intentionally cozy.
We reserve the right to deny entry to any unscheduled guest unless they are a registered carer of the client.
Children or dependants are preferably not brought along unless they also have an appointment. However, we understand that sometimes childcare is unavoidable — please limit to one dependant only and ensure they remain calm and supervised.
If a guest, dependant, or carer becomes disruptive, unsafe, or interferes with the service, Sabine HAMR reserves the right to refuse or end the appointment early.
In such instances, the deposit will not be refunded, and the rebooking fee (as outlined in the Booking Policy) will apply before a new appointment can be scheduled.
2. Hygiene & Health Policy
All tools, brushes, and surfaces are sanitised before and after each client.
Clients must arrive with clean hair and skin, free from heavy products unless otherwise discussed.
Please disclose any skin conditions, sensitivities, or contagious illnesses prior to your appointment.
If you are unwell or symptomatic, your appointment may be rescheduled at the artist’s discretion. Repeated illness-related cancellations may require medical clearance or prepayment before rebooking.
3. Arrival & Timing
Please arrive on time for your scheduled session.
Late arrivals may result in shortened service time with no price adjustment.
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be refused service and subject to the rebooking fee described in the Booking Policy.
Early arrivals are welcome to wait outside or in your vehicle until your scheduled time, as previous clients or setup may still be in progress.
4. Safety, Liability & Studio Property
The artist takes every measure to maintain a safe, hygienic, and inclusive environment.
Services are provided at the client’s own risk. Sabine HAMR is not liable for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or post-service outcomes arising from undisclosed conditions or environmental factors.
Any damage to studio property, furniture, or equipment caused by a client, guest, or dependant may result in repair or replacement fees.
Sabine HAMR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items during appointments.
5. Photography & Social Media
By accepting these Terms of Service, clients consent to the possibility of being photographed or filmed before, during, or after their service. These materials may be used for advertising, portfolio, website, and social-media content by Sabine HAMR.
Clients will always be informed when photos or videos are being taken and may verbally opt out at any time without affecting their service.
Clients are also welcome to capture personal photos or short videos, provided it does not interrupt the appointment or infringe on another client’s privacy.
6. Cross-Reference to Booking Policy
In all cases where a service is refused, ended early, or interrupted due to client conduct, lateness, or breach of these terms:
The deposit is forfeited, and
The standard rebooking fee (as per the first-time no-show policy) applies before a new appointment can be made.
For details on deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds, please refer to the Sabine HAMR Booking Policy.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By attending an appointment at Sabine HAMR, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
These policies uphold safety, professionalism, and respect within our creative space — ensuring that every experience is intentional, elevated, and aligned with the Sabine HAMR ethos.
